The Ray Kroc Story

If you are young and just starting out in the working world, you are probably working in a situation that you consider temporary. By temporary, I mean that your job probably doesn’t fit your personal career ideas, but is instead a way to earn some extra money, save for college, and get a feel for the real world.

There are many valuable lessons to be learned at this time of your life, but unfortunately, too many young people never learn them. Don’t waste this great opportunity to build a positive work ethic.

Use this time of “stepping-stone” employment to help build a solid foundation for your future career. What you learn now about responding to those above you, and the habits you build interacting with customers and with fellow employees, will have a great influence on your success in the years to come. It’s important that your job mean more to you than just a paycheck.
