The Barbara Bush Story

Before the days of satellite navigation systems in small aircraft, it was not difficult for cross-country pilots to get lost!

If you maintained a course that was only one degree off your intended compass heading, you would (and still will) end up hundreds of miles to the left or right of your destination. It’s a geometric certainty!

And life’s courses are exactly the same. Have you ever heard someone say, “I wonder where he or she went wrong?” Well, it may have been from the very beginning, and nobody noticed because “North” and “One-degree North-northwest” look pretty much the same when you’re starting out. They really don’t take on their own recognizable characteristics for quite a while.

Determine what kind of adult you want to become character-wise. Then diligently maintain your course-heading to achieve that. It’ll take you far in the right direction!
