The John Tesh Story
Not so many decades ago, any form of entertainment was an extreme luxury. If a singer or public speaker came to town, it was a major event! There were no radios, no televisions, no recorded music or video.
Today things are very different. Satellites, cable, and the internet feed song, comedy, dance, drama, and much more to and from the remote corners of the world. As the entertained generation, though, we tend to lose interest easily and complain, “I’m bored!”
But when someone is working to teach you something you should know, take the responsibility as the receiver to look for the value and appreciate the effort because the complaint, “I’m bored,” could really mean, “I’m mentally lazy,” or “I’m selfish and expect to be entertained.” It’s not a good thing to let modern technology get in the way of accomplishment or good manners!
