The Richard Branson Story
They say that about twenty percent of the population consists of bullies, and whether it’s the proverbial sand kicking bully on the beach, or the kid at school whose middle name is “harassment,” bullies can really do a lot of damage—if we let them.
Many young people just aren’t cut out to be viewed as”cool” by their peers and find themselves targets of bullies. Bullies feed on the reactions of their victims, and although it took me several miserable years to learn this lesson, I finally did learn that if you don’t react, the bullies will usually feed somewhere else!
On the other side of the coin, if you are a bully, stop it before it becomes a lifelong habit. As I look back at the lives of the bullies when I was in school (excluding the ones currently in prison), I see them living lonely and pathetic lives because they have no friends. Think about that.
