The Richard Branson Story
Once when my youngest son was six years old, he was astonished to learn that his friend thought that 100 was the biggest number! Of course, that prompted a discussion on mathematics, and he was even more astonished to learn that there is no biggest number! His six-year-old mind suddenly had a glimpse of infinity! After that, it was one question after another.
But how many of US settle for limited thinking—trapping ourselves into lives of inadequacy?
I once had a college professor who showed us an exercise in which we were to draw a line through each of nine dots in a square. We could make only four moves, and we were not to retrace or lift our pencils. None of us could do it. . . because we didn’t think big enough to venture out of the square.
Learn to think bigger—because in this case—bigger is better!
